Research Laboratory Microwave Technologies and Inovative Processes (LCTM)
The laboratory is developed for processing the dielectric materials in microwave field in order to improve the performance of the characteristics for existing materials.
The major perspectives of the researches performed in this laboratory are:
– To develop the methodology and techniques for measuring the radiation in the microwave field, for an exact and pertinent valuation of the energy absorbed by materials in time and space;
– Setting the possibilities to estimate the amount of energy absorbed through the modelling – simulation and precision measurements using specific measuring probes;
– Designing, realization and testing of the experimental equipments / pilot equipments.
The technology used in the laboratory is complex, innovative, with high perspectives for implementation and promotion in the future as a technology that protects the environment (does not use harmful chemicals), a commonly technology used in Europe and worldwide, providing a high degree of safety and protection.
